A New Tradition
Penn Oast was originally used to dry hops when hop fields were common in the Kentish countryside. Hop farming is less common now as more and more hops are imported from the continent. The oast house is now our family home and sits at the centre of our eight acre vineyard.
While maintaining the rurality of the area, we’ve embraced the opportunity brought by climate change to grow grapes instead of hops.
