Awards:

IEWA 2026 – Silver
We’re very happy to say that our first ever Sparkling Cuvée has won a Silver Medal in blind tastings by a panel of expert judges in the 2026 Independent English Wine Awards.

What the Judges said:

A bright, vibrant and beautifully balanced sparkling wine, showing excellent freshness and varietal clarity. The wine presents very well, with a nose of very good to excellent intensity and quality. Aromatically, it combines lively citrus and orchard fruit notes — including green apple, lemon and subtle red berry hints — creating a fresh and engaging profile with immediate appeal.

On the palate, the wine is clean with very good intensity and quality, delivering a crisp and energetic expression. Citrus and green fruit sit at the core, supported by vibrant acidity that provides precision and drive. The wine feels youthful and confident, with freshness and purity taking centre stage.

Texture adds further interest, with a subtle grip and gentle mouthfeel contributing dimension without compromising the wine’s elegance. Balance is a clear strength, with fruit and acidity working seamlessly together to create a polished and harmonious expression. The wine is finely judged, with no element dominating the palate.

Complexity is moderate, with the emphasis firmly on freshness, precision and drinkability. While autolytic character remains relatively restrained at this stage, the wine already shows impressive composure and plenty of potential for further development. The finish is clean and persistent, carrying citrus and fresh fruit notes with clarity and finesse.

Overall, this is a highly accomplished sparkling wine that combines energy, balance and purity in a confident and appealing style. Several judges placed it firmly at the upper end of Silver level, recognising both its quality today and its capacity to evolve further.
