Price range: £20.00 through £108.00

Price range: £20.00 through £108.00

A bright, fruit-forward wine with notes of peach, melon and citrus peel.

Description

Description:

Penn Oast Hare’s Harvest is a blend of Bacchus, Ortega & Chardonnay grown exclusively in our vineyard alongside Manor Lane, Hollingbourne. The blend was carefully chosen to produce an easy drinking dry white wine that is great with food. Bacchus & Ortega are often used as a blend together but our addition of a little Chardonnay lifts this pairing to a new level that must be tried.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Pale lemon green
Nose: Apricot, white peach, rock melon, greengage plum
Palate: Balanced acidity, citrus peel, thyme

Awards:

IEWA 2025 – Silver

WINE GB AWARDS 2025 – Bronze
Further to the success at the IEWA we’re pleased to announce that our 2024 Manor Lane Hare’s Harvest has been awarded a Bronze medal at the prestigious WINE GB Awards.

What the Judges said:

Lovely nose. Fragrant with floral and citrus skin nuance. Palate is nicely balanced, green fruit with  floral character.

Well made, and enjoyable, with varietal character.

Nice subtle grip, some lime and vibrancy, some subtle floral character. Easy, but fresh.

Interesting blend with some complexity and texture – touch sharp

Orange juicy and fresh, citrus oil and pith, slightly bitter grapefruit finish, but I like it.
